Design im Zeughaus: Networking "Circular Design and Energy Turnaround"
- DESIGN SCHAU!
- Young Professionals
Lothstraße 17, 80335 München
With "Design im Zeughaus", the Department of Design shapes the design discourse and the networking around design topics. For MCBW 2022, the focus lies on "Circular Design and Energy Turnaround".
In the course of social transformation, design as a discipline at the core of innovation processes adopts a leading role that goes far beyond formal aspects: design reflects, communicates and moulds social, technological and cultural changes - thus making complex correlations easier to grasp.
As part of MCBW 2022, the Faculty of Design at the University of Applied Sciences Munich invites you to networking and lectures on "Circular Design and Energy Transition". Network partners from academia, creative industries, politics and society will present their topics in keynote speeches and will be available for a professional yet informal exchange. Accompanying the event, the faculty will also hold an exhibition showcasing the cross-disciplinary book project "Erneuerbare Energien zum Verstehen und Mitreden" (Renewable Energies to Understand and Talk About), a cooperation between Munich University, the authors and Bertelsmann publishing house. Short films by students about the topic of sustainability complement the program.
The detailed program plus information on the keynote speeches is available at www.designimzeughaus.de.
Participate in our survey and win one of three illustrated books of Tom Hegen’s series "Habitat".
