Karianne Fogelberg

Karianne Fogelberg explores in her work as design theorist and curator the present expansion of the notion of design in the context of contemporary design practice and theoretical debates, including those from social sciences, political theory and philosophy. She conceives and realizes, among other things, projects at the interface of teaching and research, and investigates speculative scenarios and narratives as applied research method and their transfer into other fields of knowledge. Together with the designer Sarah Dorkenwald, Karianne Fogelberg has founded the studio UnDesignUnit in Munich. Jointly they combine competencies and methods from design and design theory and work at the crossroads of other disciplines and forms of knowledge. www.undesignunit.com
