Lynn Harles

Lynn Harles is a design researcher at the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation by Fraunhofer IAO in Berlin and a doctoral student at Bauhaus University in Weimar. Her research focuses on the close intertwining of science, design and innovation, locating herself in particular at the intersection of science communication, technology transfer and innovation research. In her doctoral thesis entitled "Embodying Uncertainties", she investigates the potential of speculative design practices for socially oriented knowledge transfer on technological and social developments and questions their ethical responsibility.
