Alex Thusbass

Alex is one of the e-bike industry’s most influential designers and thought leaders. He played a key role in the rise of mountain e-bikes and introduced industry-standard innovations like integrated motors and motor skid plates. Today, Alex is CEO of KISKA Munich. His team focusses on e-bike development for brands like Husqvarna E-Bicycles.
Alex began his career at KISKA as an Intern and returned as Managing Director after 20 years and 30 awards under his belt. Entrepreneurial and passionate about digitalisation, he led Haibike’s design and marketing and founded several companies. Like the Haibike Design Center Munich, his own agencies, and DealerCenter Digital, the only open advice and sales tool for bike retailers. He is a sought-after keynote speaker and design award jury member.
