Katharina Binder

Katharina Binder is an independent Wearable Technology Researcher and Designer, an Interface and UX Designer at Imago Design, and, in the current semester, a guest-lecturer in the prototyping of Wearable Technology at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich. While following a calm technology and human-centered approach, she focuses her work on designing and prototyping transdisciplinary concepts that put pioneering technologies and material research in a multi-sensory context of interaction. She unites skills of traditional craft and cutting-edge technology forming hybrid objects and experiences. Holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree in „Arts and Multimedia“ from the Ludwig-Maximilians University she studied in Munich and at the ENSAAMA, Paris.
