Katharina Sand
Katharina Sand is a professor at the École de Design and the École supérieure de mode (ESM) of the Université du Québec à Montreal. Previously, she taught at PARSONS Paris (The New School), the Haute École D'Art et Design (HEAD-Genève), the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), as well as the Fashion & Technology Department of the Kunstuniversität Linz. She has explored the phygital fashion domain and has participated in international design juries and conferences for over twenty years. She also curates fashion exhibitions. Her practice-oriented research focuses on the impact of technology upon fashion and aesthetics. Her publications address creative, social and ecological challenges in the fields of fashion, luxury and technology.
