Zena Holloway

Frustrated by plastic pollution in our oceans and rivers, Zena became interested in bio-design. She grew mushrooms in her basement for a while before a chance encounter with willow root in the River Dour piqued her interest in the binding properties of root. Zena grows sustainable, organic and compostable structures from grass root, using templates carved from beeswax.
