Thomas Bade
Thomas Bade sees socio-economic action as a central element of his work and has been committed to the goal of anchoring universal design in business, science and society for 15 years. He is co-founder of universal design e.V., signatory of the Weimar Declaration, lecturer at the Technical University of Munich and, since July 2016, managing director of the Institute for Universal Design there.
As managing director of the Universal Design Forum e.V., he represents the association at the German Design Day and is an advisory member and jury member of the IAUD (International Association for Universal Design) in Yokohama (Japan).
Current fields of work: Universal Design & Economy, Universal Design & Community, Care & Digitalization, Museum in Public Space.
