Transformation in care vs. staff shortages and rising costs

The Care for Innovation association sees itself as a multidisciplinary driving force in the transformation of care. Here, ethics and the participatory involvement of caregivers are the key concern.
Transformation in care versus staff shortages and rising costs. Time to sharpen the focus and status of digitisation.
The digital and analogue transformation of care is an absolute must. According to a new study by the Institute for Work and Technology in Gelsenkirchen (IAT), up to 600,000 full-time positions in care could be re-filled (also with former nurses) if the quality of working conditions in the care sector were improved.
Digitisation tools, for example, could significantly simplify documentation work and other administrative processes.
But ...
What ethical parameters are essential for the development and use of such or similar tools? What role will automation and robotics play in the future of care?
What does it take to increase acceptance and usability of these tools? Which of these tools make sense and actually leave more time for the people receiving care?
Welcome to a somewhat different discourse on this topic. Become a co-creator in a dialogue with experts from ethics and design, digital pioneers and caregivers!

We see universal design as a meta discipline of design. We support companies, the science sector and society in the development of analog and digital products, services and concepts.
