Juliane Kahl

Juliane Kahl is a designer and researcher with a focus on digital fashion and sustainability. In 2019, she founded the Responsive Fashion Institute in Munich. The Institute develops sustainable digital fashion products and VR spaces in the fashion metaverse. The award winning company consults fashion companies and decision-makers on innovation and sustainability and organizes local and international events, conferences and fashion hackathons on topics such as AI, Blockchain Technology and Circular Economy. In the course of her longstanding teaching and pedagogical practice, Juliane designed modules and methods for numerous educational institutions.
In 2016 she initiated the first Fashion Hackathon in East Africa in Addis Ababa, which won the London College of Fashion ‘Better Lives Award’.
